LRG Capital Group Appoints Nathan Randel As Its New Director in Trading and Porfolio Administration

Larkspur, CA (April 26, 2007) -- LRG Capital Group, LLC, a global merchant bank that invests in and provides advisory services to public and private companies, today announced the appointment of Nathan W. Randel, CFA as its new Director of Trading and Portfolio Administration.

In his new capacity, Mr. Randel will be responsible for day to day trading at LRG Capital Group, as well as day to day portfolio accounting and daily reconciliation. Mr. Randel will also provide technical analysis on LRG Capital Group's prospective and existing portfolio companies and investments, and will communicate with LRG's investor base, administration, auditors and prime brokers.

Mr. Randel brings 11 years of investment and banking experience to LRG Capital Group. Most recently, Mr. Randel served as Assistant Portfolio Manager for GM Capital Group, acting as investment manager for the Pure Alpha Relative Value Fund. In this position, he researched and modeled arbitrage trading strategies and managed the fund's risk, capital allocations and operational infrastructure.

Previously, he served on the dealer desk at Bank of America Securities as a Money Market Trader assisting Fortune 500 companies obtain funding through $30 billion in primary market debt programs, while trading a secondary market portfolio of up to $300 million in money market securities. Mr. Randel has held financial services positions in institutional fixed income sales with Seattle-Northwest Securities and corporate credit analysis with First Union Bank.

Mr. Randel also brings experience as a Staff Accountant with U.S. News and World Report, performing various Treasury duties including cash management investing.

Mr. Randel is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charter holder and is an active member of The CFA Institute and The CFA Society of San Francisco. He received his B.A. in business management from Lynchburg College in 1989.
